The Srinivasa Educational and Rural Development Society was founded in the year 1987 by a group of highly educated and service minded individuals with a noble intension of providing professional and higher education to the students coming from backward rural areas of in and around Rayalaseema. The motto of the Society is, if education is developed, the country can progress and as the saying goes. “Vidvan Sarvatra Pujyathe” means.
Srinivasa Educational and Rural Development Society was established by Sri B.Srinivasulu in order to provide technical education in rural and semi urban areas of A.P. he is a graduate, educationalist, along with his family members promoted a society in 1987 and got it registered under societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with Registration No: 316 of 1987. From then onwards the society has been very active in establishing various educational institutions and successfully running them.

Nirmala college of Pharmacy was established in 2001. The college has a wonderful garden with 100+ medicinal plants which is specially created by the students under the guidance and supervision of the staff. Our institution having full facilitated library with good collection of various titles of books and journals with internet provision. The laboratories of various department of pharmacy in our institution are well equipped and facilitated as per the guidelines of AICTE, PCI, and JNTUA.Our students attended various seminars and conferences in and around the state and presented scientific papers or participated competitions and got prizes. Our students also visited many pharmaceutical manufacturing industries and hospital pharmacy administrations. The visits as an informative and educative to the students to understand the profession of pharmacy.
