B. PHARMACY - ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Candidates seeking admission into the four-year degree course in Pharmacy must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Biology + Botany / Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects or any other 10+2 level examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate as equivalent thereto. Total intake (Seats) is classified according rules given by Govt of India and Govt. of A.P.

Admissions comes under “Category A”, is will be processed through a State-Level Entrance Test called “Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, and Medical Common Entrance Test” (AP EAPCET), Conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, KAKINADA on behalf of APSCHE, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
70% of the seats under “Category A” are filled by the Convener of AP EAPCET based on the rank secured in AP EAPCET and as per the rules of reservation in force. The Management fills 30% of the seats under “Category B”. Based on the guidelines issued by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
Average percentage of seats filled against seats reserved for various categories (SC, ST, OBC, Divyangjan, etc. as per applicable reservation policy).

DOCTOR OF PHARMACY ( PHARM D)
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
All admissions belongs to Doctor of Pharmacy a Six-year degree in Pharmacy will be made similar to B.Pharmacy admissions.
COURSE DURATION: 6 Year full time course

M. PHARMACY - ADMISSION PROCEDURE
As per the rules & regulations lay down by the GPAT Convener & Convener PGECET (Admissions) all admissions are completed in due time by AP Govt.
GPAT and PGECET Code: NICP1
COURSE DURATION: 2 years
Candidates must hold the graduation degree in Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy) from an institute that is recognized by PCI and AICTE. The minimum graduation marks required are 60% for the general category candidates and 45% for the SC/ST candidates.
The selection will be on the basis of GPAT Examination (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) for non-sponsored candidates and entrance test conducted by the University (PGECET) for sponsored and self-supporting candidates. Admission is either through GPAT / PGECET counseling.
